Unreadable disc If you try to use a disc which is in-
compatible with this system.
Insert a suitable disc.
If you insert a disc upside down. Insert the disc with the label upward.
If the disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
If the disc is cracked or otherwise
damaged.
Insert a normal, round disc.
Mechanical failure of DVD drive oc-
curs.
Consult your Pioneer dealer.
Playback error. Please remove
the disc.
Electrical or mechanical error has
occurred.
Press RESET button. (Also see the Hardware

Region code error The disc does not have the same re-
gion number as the navigation sys-
tem.
Replace the DVD-Video with one bearing the
correct region number.
Playback error due to irregu-
lar temperature. Please re-
move the disc.
The temperature of the built-in DVD
drive exceeds the operating limits.
Park your vehicle in safe place, turn the igni-
tion switch off, and wait until the built-in DVD
drives temperature returns to within normal
operating limits.
ATTENTION! Viewing of front
seat video source while driv-
ing is strictly prohibited.
Handbrake interlock is activated. Park your vehicle in the safe place and apply
the handbrake. (Page 19)
Search error The title number, chapter number,
time, or 10 key command that you
enter in [10K ey Search] do not
exist. (This message will appear
when the DVD drive cannot accept
that command.)

mand or use another search method.

This CD cannot be recorded If you insert a CD which prohibits
second-generation copi es or dupli-
cate.
Use another CD and retry.

the beginning of the track.
If recording can not be carried out
due to cont inuous skipping on cer-
tain part of the disc because the
disc is dirty, scratched, or otherwise
damaged, the pick-up lens of the
DVD drive is dirty, or extreme vibra-
tion occurs continuously.
! Clean the disc and retry.
! Clean the pick-up lens with a commercially
available cleaning kit for DVD, then retry.
! Retry in vibration-fre e condition.
Exceeded playlist maximum.
No more playlists can be re-
corded.
If you try to record a new CD but the
maximum number of playlists are
already recorded. (The album play-
list can be stores up to 400.)
Delete some playlists and retry.
Playback error. Music Library
cannot be played
The music library component is ab-
normal.
Consult your dealer.
