Objecten plaatsen
Er zijn verscheidene methoden die u kunt gebruiken om objecten te plaatsen:
• Handmatig
U kunt objecten met behulp van de selectietool slepen.
• Automatisch in verhouding tot het kader van de lay-out
Door met de rechtermuisknop op een object te klikken, kunt u automatisch het plaatsen
van een object horizontaal of verticaal centreren door het overeenkomstige item uit het
contextmenu te centreren
.
• Automatisch in verhouding tot andere geselecteerde objecten
Zie pagina 79.
• Numeriek
Selecteert u “Edit position and size...” uit het menu Objects (of contextmenu), dan ver-
schijnt er een dialoogvenster waar u het object (geselecteerd met focus) numeriek kunt
plaatsen. U specificeert de positie van de linkerkant en de bovenkant van het lay-outkader
in cm/mm. Klik op “Apply” om de wijziging van de plaats toe te passen zonder het dialoog-
venster te sluiten.
Over de opties Raster, Linialen en Magnetiseren
In het menu Options staan twee items, “Show grid” en “Show rulers”. Zijn
deze aangevinkt, dan zal de achtergrond van de lay-out een raster van kleine
puntjes tonen. Daarnaast verschijnen er verticale en horizontale linialen die
de huidige positie van de muisaanwijzer tonen. Met beide items kunt u de
objecten zeer nauwkeurig in de lay-out plaatsen. Het raster kan worden ge-
specificeerd in het dialoogvenster Preferences in het menu Options.
U kunt ook Magnetize gebruiken zodat de objecten of aan de rasterposities,
aan andere objecten of aan de kaderranden (of alle drie) vastplakken, door
het juiste item uit het menu Options te selecteren.
