Houd er ook rekening mee dat specificaties weliswaar belangrijk,

maar niet allesbepalend zijn. Het correct functioneren van

hardwareapparatuur kan bijvoorbeeld tevens afhankelijk zijn van de

stuurprogramma's die door de fabrikanten wordt geleverd. Wij raden

u aan de websites van de fabrikant in de gaten te houden voor

stuurprogramma's en ondersteuningsinformatie; dit is vaak nuttig bij

het oplossen van problemen met grafische kaarten, geluidskaarten en

andere apparaten.

Besturingssysteem

We raden een 64-bits besturingssysteem aan als u HD-materiaal wilt

bewerken.

RAM

Hoe meer RAM-geheugen u hebt, hoe eenvoudiger het werken met

Pinnacle Studio is. U hebt ten minste 1 GB RAM nodig voor een

toereikende werking, en we raden u sterk aan 2 GB te gebruiken (of

meer). Als u werkt met HD- of AVCHD-video, dan bevelen we

4 GB aan.

Moederbord

Intel Pentium of AMD Athlon 2.4 GHz of hoger – hoe hoger, hoe

beter. AVCHD-bewerking vereist een krachtigere CPU. De

minimale aanbeveling is 2,66 GHz voor bewerken van AVCHD-

video met 1920 pixels. Een multi-core-systeem zoals Core i7, Core

i5 of Core i3 wordt aanbevolen.

Grafische kaart

Voor Studio hebt u een DirectX-compatibele grafische kaart nodig:

• Voor normaal gebruik ten minste 128 MB onboard-geheugen

(256 MB aanbevolen).

• Voor HD en AVCHD ten minste 256 MB (512 MB aanbevolen).

De harde schijf

Uw harde schijf moet ononderbroken 4 MB/sec kunnen lezen en

schrijven. De meeste drives zijn hiertoe in staat. De eerste keer dat u
