How to install the external harddisk
for Windows 98 Second Edition only?
Follow the next steps:
1. Insert the Nero Disc and browse to the directory “Philips Drivers”
2. Double click “win98SE.exe”
3. Click next
4. Accept the terms of license agreement
5. Click next
6. Click finish
7. Connect USB and power cable of your external harddisk to the computer
8. The drivers will be automatically installed
9. Browse to the directory “Aspi” in the “Philips Drivers” directory
10. Double click “aspiinst.exe”
11. Click install
12. Click exit
13. Continue the Nero installation
14. Click on Nero BackItUp, other packages can be installed if preferred
15. After installing the software, you should reboot your computer
If you want to use firewire you need to update your Windows 98 Second Edition.

for Windows ME?
Follow the next steps:
1. Insert the Nero Disc and browse to the directory “Philips Drivers”
2. Browse to the directory “Aspi” in the “Philips Drivers” directory
3. Double click “aspiinst.exe”
4. Click install
5. Click exit
6. Continue the Nero installation
7. Click on Nero BackItUp, other packages can be installed if preferred
8. After installing the software, you should reboot your computer
