Beperkte aansprakelijkheid Microsoft ten aanzien van
beschermde inhoud
Dit product wordt beschermd door bepaalde intellectuele eigendomsrechten van
Microsoft Corporation.
Het gebruik of de verspreiding van dergelijke technologie buiten dit product zonder
licentie van Microsoft of een bevoegde dochteronderneming van Microsoft is
verboden.
‘Leveranciers van inhoud maken gebruik van de digitale technologie voor
rechtenbeheer met betrekking tot Windows Media in dit apparaat (‘WM-DRM’)
teneinde de integriteit van hun inhoud te beveiligen (‘Veilige Inhoud’) zodat hun
intellectuele eigendom, met inbegrip van auteursrecht, in dergelijke inhoud niet
wederrechtelijk wordt toegeëigend. Dit apparaat maakt gebruik van WM-DRM
software om Veilige Inhoud af te spelen (‘WM-DRM Software’). Indien de beveiliging
van de WM-DRM Software in dit apparaat is aangetast, kunnen eigenaars van Veilige
Inhoud (‘Eigenaars Veilige Inhoud’) Microsoft verzoeken het recht van de WM-DRM
software om nieuwe licenties om Veilige Inhoud te kopiëren, weer te geven en/of af
te spelen in te trekken. De intrekking heeft geen gevolgen voor het vermogen van de
WM-DRM Software om onbeschermde inhoud af te spelen. Er wordt een lijst van
ingetrokken WM-DRM Software naar uw apparaat verstuurd, telkens wanneer u een
licentie voor Veilige Inhoud dowload vanaf het Internet of een pc. Microsoft kan, in
overeenstemming met een dergelijke licentie, ook intreklijsten op uw apparaat
downloaden namens de Eigenaars van Veilige Inhoud.’
