Hardware versie Hardware versie van de SLA5520.
Netwerknaam (SSID) De netwerknaam (SSID) duidt het draadloze netwerk aan.
Deze kan worden gewijzigd door de eigenaar.
SSID - Service Set IDentifier.
Draadloos De draadloze status van het netwerk bepaalt hoe apparaten
communiceren.
Infrastructure, geniet voorkeur - wanneer er een basisstation,
router, gateway of toegangspunt wordt gebruikt. Apparaten
communiceren via basisstation, router, gateway of toegangspunt.
Bijvoorbeeld - Philips basisstation (met toegang tot het Internet),
pc met draadloos systeem ingebouwd en Philips SLA5520.
Point-to-point (Ad-Hoc) - Apparaten communiceren direct met
elkaar.
Bijvoorbeeld - pc met ingebouwd draadloos systeem en Philips
SLA5520
Beveiliging (codering) Geeft aan of beveiliging (codering) is ingeschakeld voor het
draadloze netwerk: ‘WPA’, ‘WEP of ‘Geen’.
WPA, best - Wireless Protected Access
WEP, goed - Wired Equivalent Protocol

WiFi Signaal sterkte Sterkte van het signaal dat wordt ontvangen van het draadloze
netwerk.
WiFi Kanaal Geeft aan welk WiFi Kanaal wordt gebruikt door het netwerk.
Uniek product-ID (MAC) Uniek productidentificatienummer van de SLA5520.
MAC - Media Access Control
Automatisch adres (DHCP) Er wordt een productidentificatienummer (IP-adres) toegewezen
aan de SLA5520. Dit wordt gebruikt voor de communicatie met
het netwerk.Het wordt toegewezen door een DHCP-server.
DHCP - Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
Product-ID (IP) Productidentificatienummer (IP-adres) toegewezen aan de
SLA5520 voor communicatie op het netwerk.
Bijvoorbeeld - 192.168.0.1 (192.168.000.001)
IP-adres - Internet Protocol adres.
Subnet Mask Het Subnet Mask bepaalt de mogelijke
productidentificatienummers (IP-adressen) op het netwerk.
Het Subnet Mask moet gelijk zijn voor alle apparaten.
Bijvoorbeeld - 255.255.255.0 (255.255.255.000)
