To use the units to listen to your baby:
Position the Baby unit at least 1 metre away from the baby so that the microphone
(1-6) can pick up baby’s sounds.
Set the Sensitivity control (1-8) on the Baby unit to about mid-range (level 5)
and switch on the Baby unit using the Power on/off switch (1-4).
The green Transmit light (1-3) lights when a sound is picked up, indicating that
a sound signal is being transmitted from the Baby unit to the Parent unit.
Move away from the Baby unit with the Parent unit.
Switch on the Parent unit using the Volume On/Off control (2-5) and adjust the
volume to about mid-range (level 5).
The green System light (2-2) flashes while the connection is being set up and then
lights continuously when the Parent unit and the Baby unit are communicating
with each other. If the connection is broken the System lights (1-2 and 2-2) are
both red (blinking).
Adjust the volume on the Parent unit (2-5) and the sensitivity on the Baby unit
(1-8) to the level you prefer.
Note: If the sensitivity control on the Baby unit (1-8) is set to zero, no sounds
are sent to the Parent unit. If the sensitivity is set to 10, the Baby unit
monitors continuously and all sounds, regardless of level, can be heard
on the Parent unit.
