- Dit symbool op een product betekent dat het product voldoet
aan EU-richtlijn 2012/19/EU (g. 13).
- Dit symbool betekent dat het product een ingebouwde accu bevat
die valt onder EU-richtlijn 2006/66/EG en die niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval mag worden weggegooid. Volg de instructies in
‘De accu verwijderen’ om de accu te verwijderen (g. 14).
- Stel uzelf op de hoogte van de lokale wetgeving over gescheiden
inzameling van afval van elektrische en elektronische producten en
accu’s. Volg de lokale regels op en werp het product en de accu’s
nooit samen met ander huisvuil weg. Als u oude producten en accu’s
correct verwijdert, voorkomt u negatieve gevolgen voor het milieu en
de volksgezondheid.
De accu verwijderen
U kunt de accu niet opnieuw in het apparaat plaatsen nadat u deze
hebt verwijderd.
Om de accu te verwijderen hebt u een kleine standaard schroevendraaier
en tape nodig. Neem de benodigde veiligheidsmaatregelen wanneer u de
onderstaande procedure volgt.
1 Om de accu volledig te ontladen, neemt u het handvat van de
oplader af, schakelt u de Sonicare in en laat u deze werken tot deze
vanzelf stopt. Herhaal deze stap totdat u de Sonicare niet meer
kunt inschakelen.
2 Plaats een kleine standaard schroevendraaier in de onderkant van
het handvat en draai deze linksom om de schroef te verwijderen.

3 Plaats de schroevendraaier tussen het handvat en het interne frame.
