Cord storage
Excess mains cord can be pushed back into the cord storage
compartment at the back of the appliance.
Assembling
- First wash up all the removable parts. (Please refer to section
“Cleaning”.)
- Put the rubber sealing ring on the rim of the blade unit (fig. 2).
- Fix the blade unit to the jar by rotating firmly in the direction of the
arrow (fig. 3).
- Place the mounted jar on to the motor housing and turn in the direction
of the arrow until locked (fig. 4).
Warning: Do not force the handle of the jar.
- After putting the ingredients into the jar, place the lid onto the jar by
pressing downwards (fig. 5).
- Fix the stopper by pushing lightly downwards and turning in the
direction of the arrow until locked (fig. 6).
For disassembling proceed in reverse.
Safety switch
The appliance is provided with a safety switch which disables the
mechanism if the jar is not (or not properly) fitted.
Note: Do not use the jar to switch the appliance on and off.
Switching on
- Before switching on, first ensure that the appliance is connected and
that the jar is correctly fitted.
- Set the selector to position I for continuous operation (fig. 7).
- For instant (repetitive) operation set the selector to position M and
release repeatedly (fig. 8).
- To stop the motor set the selector to position O (fig. 9).
