Yleistä tietoa ihokarvojen poistosta
◗ Ihokarvat on helpointa poistaa kylvyn tai suihkun jälkeen. Ihon
tulee olla täysin kuiva aloitettaessa ihokarvojen poisto.
◗ Kun käytät laitetta ensimmäisen kerran, tutustu
epilointimenetelmään epiloimalla ensin ihosta alue, jossa
karvankasvu on heikkoa.Voitele iho karvanpoiston jälkeen
hoitoaineella tai vartalovoiteella, niin että iho pehmenee ja ihon
ärsytys lievenee.
◗ Voit lyhentää ihokarvat leikkurilla tai saksilla ennen pitkien
karvojen epiloimista ihon aroilta alueilta.
◗ Hyvä hetki ihokarvojen poistoon on illalla ennen nukkumaan
menoa, jolloin epiloinnin aikana mahdollisesti ärtynyt iho ehtii
rauhoittua yön aikana.
◗ Iho saattaa hieman aristaa tai punoittaa muutaman ensimmäisen
ihokarvojen poistokerran jälkeen.Tämä on aivan normaali ilmiö ja
häviää nopeasti. Kun laitetta käytetään useammin, iho tottuu
ihokarvojen poistoon, ihon ärsytys vähenee ja takaisin kasvavat
ihokarvat muuttuvat pehmeämmiksi ja ohuemmiksi. Jos ihon ärsytys
ei häviä kolmessa vuorokaudessa, kannattaa kysyä lääkäriltä.
◗ Epilointi saattaa aiheuttaa karvojen sisäänkasvua tai pieniä
ihovaurioita, jotka lisäävät tulehdusten vaaraa bakteerien
läpäistessä ihon suojakerroksen. Epilointipään huolellinen
puhdistus jokaisen käyttökerran jälkeen on sen vuoksi tärkeää.
Ihokarvojen poisto sääristä
Varmista, että iho on puhdas eikä rasvainen. Älä käytä voiteita juuri
ennen ihokarvojen poistoa.
1 Vedä suojakotelo jäähdytyselementin päälle (kuva 3).
Suojakotelo estää kättä tuntemasta epämiellyttävää kylmyyttä laitetta
käytettäessä.
Kääntyvä pää saattaa toisinaan jäätyä kiinni jäähdytyselementtiin, jolloin
se ei liiku, kun otat jäähdystyselementin pakastimesta. Kääntyvä pää alkaa
toimia uudelleen, kun vedät sitä muutaman kerran sääriä myöten.
