◗ Älä käytä epilointipäätä, jos iho on ärtynyt tai jos iholla on

vastustuskyky on alentunut, esim. raskaana olevat naiset,
diabeetikot tai verenvuototautia tai immuunikatoa sairastavat,
tulisi ensin kysyä neuvoa lääkäriltä.
◗ Ensimmäisten ihokarvojen poistokertojen jälkeen iho saattaa
hieman punoittaa. Ilmiö häviää pian, kun iho tottuu ihokarvojen
poistoon ja ihokarvat muuttuvat ohuemmiksi ja pehmeämmiksi.
Jos ihon ärsytys ei häviä kolmessa vuorokaudessa, kannattaa
kysyä lääkäriltä.
◗ Ihon säännöllinen hierominen hierontakintaalla tai
ihonkuorintapäällä saattaa estää ihokarvojen sisäänkasvamisen.
Älä käytä hierontakinnasta tai ihonkuorintapäätä juuri ennen
ihokarvojen poistamista eikä heti sen jälkeen.

Mahdollinen ihon ärsytys vähenee yön aikana.
