How to use
When using the appliance as a dry massaging
machine (without water) only set the massage
switch (A);
the warming switch (B) must then remain in
position O.
Before filling the foot bath with water, ensure
- that both the massage selector (A) and
warming / bubbles selector (B) are in position
O (= "off");
- that the mains plug is not in the wall socket.
• If you use the appliance with water:
- Pour water of the required temperature
(approx. 37° C or 100° F) into the foot-bath
(fig. 2).
Do not fill higher than the maximum water level
indication (D) (fig. 3). You may add bath salts.
(If you apply bubbles it is not advisable to add
bath foam or shampoo.)
- Place the appliance on an even floor and in
front of a chair.
- Insert the plug into a wall socket.
- Sit down on the chair. Then position your feet
on the massaging plate (fig. 4).
Do not stand on the massaging plate (fig. 5).
• If you use the appliance with water:
- You can set the warming / bubbles selector (B)
to position $ ("on") (fig. 6). The warming
indicator light (C) will come on.
In this case the water will cool down slower.
• If you use bubbles:
- Set the warming / bubbles selector (B) to
position % ("on") (fig. 7). Furthermore, air
bubbles will come from the massage plate.
• If you use the appliance to massage (with or
without water):
- Set the massage selector (A) to the required
setting:
! = normal
" = extra (fig. 8).
- The massaging tip (F) in particular has a
penetrative effect (fig. 9).
- After use, set the selector(s) to position O
(fig. 10). Remove the plug from the wall socket.
- Pour out the water. Hold the appliance with one
corner pointing downwards (fig. 11).
- You can store excess mains cord at the
underside of the appliance (fig. 12).
