NIGHT mode—for fax machines WITHOUT built-in answering device
In TIMER mode your fax machine automatically switches from NIGHT mode to DAY mode and vice
versa. If you only want to use your fax machine in NIGHT mode (TIMER mode deactivated) press the
DAY/NIGHT/TIMER key for at least two seconds until you hear a confirmation tone and the TIMER
pointer disappears.
The following settings are available in NIGHT mode :
Fax: rings
Faxes are received automatically after about
five soft rings.
For phone calls your fax machine rings softly.
Other telephones ring as often as the fax
machine.
Advantages: you are informed when receiving
a fax.
Faxes are received automatically after about
five soft rings.
For phone calls your fax machine continues to
ring softly.
Other telephones ring until fax reception
starts.
Fax: expert
You can enter your personal settings here.
