Rengøring
Apparatet må aldrig kommes ned i vand eller andre væsker eller skylles
under vandhanen.
1 Rengør apparatets yderside med en våd klud.
Afkalkning
Regelmæssig afkalkning forlænger apparatets levetid og sikrer et optimalt
brygningsresultat og en konstant brygningstid i lang tid.
Afkalkning af kaffemaskinen ved normal brug (2 hele kander om dagen):
- 2 eller 3 gange om året, hvis du har blødt vand (op til 18 dH);
- 4 eller 5 gange om året, hvis du har hårdt vand (over 18 dH).
Oplysninger om vandets hårdhedsgrad fås på det lokale vandværk.
Du kan bruge hvid eddike med 4 % eddikesyre eller et flydende
afkalkningsmiddel til at afkalke kaffemaskinen.
Bemærk: Hvis apparatet begynder at producere mere damp, kan det betyde,
at det er kalket til.
Brug aldrig eddike med et indhold af eddikesyre på 8 % eller mere,
naturlig vineddike eller afkalkningmidler i pulver eller tabletform til at
afkalke apparatet, da dette kan medføre skader.
Afkalkning tager ca. 30 til 60 minutter.
1 Fyld vandtanken med en liter hvid eddike (4 % eddikesyre).
Bemærk: Sæt ikke filter og malet kaffe i filterholderen. Du kan også bruge et
eddikebaseret afkalkningsmiddel. Følg anvisningerne på emballagen.
2 Tryk på on/off-knappen for at tænde apparatet og lad det fuldføre
bryggeprocessen (se kapitlet “Sådan bruges apparatet”).
3 Sluk for apparatet.
4 Tøm kanden i håndvasken.
Bemærk: Gentag trin 1 for 3 for at foretage en ekstra grundig afkalkning og
sikre, at der ikke er noget kalk tilbage i apparatet.
