Note: The lines on the water level window correspond to large cups.
3 Take a paper lter (type 1x2 or no. 2) and fold the sealed edges to prevent tearing and
folding (Fig. 7).
4 Put the lter in the lter holder (Fig. 8).
Note: Some versions come with a permanent lter. In this case you do not need to use paper lters.
5 Put ground coffee (lter-ne grind) in the lter (Fig. 9).
- For large cups: use one heaped measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
- For small cups: use one level measuring spoon of ground coffee for each cup.
6 Close the lid of the coffee maker. (Fig. 10)
7 Place the jug with the lid closed on the hotplate (Fig. 5).

, The power-on light goes on.
9 Let the water pass through the lter into the jug.

dripping through the lter onto the hotplate (Fig. 11).
10 Put the jug with the remaining coffee back onto the hotplate to keep the coffee hot and to
preserve its avour.
11 After use, set the on/off switch to ‘O’ to switch off the appliance.
