The inside of the thermostat unit socket must be completely dry before you reinsert the
thermostat unit into it. To dry the socket, wipe the inside with a dry cloth. If necessary, shake out
excess water rst.
10 Reassemble the appliance.
Storage
1 Leave the thermostat unit in the grill. Wind the cord and x it with the cord strap (Fig. 14).
2 Store the grill in upright position on a dry and level surface (Fig. 15).
Note: Make sure that the stoppers are at the bottom, so that the drip tray cannot fall out of the
appliance.
Environment
- Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 16).

The appliance
produces smoke.
The rst few times you use the
appliance, it may produce some
smoke.
This is normal. After you have used the
appliance a few times, the appliance stops
producing smoke.
