Nota: O ferro pode libertar algum fumo quando for utilizado pela primeira

vez. É normal e pára passado pouco tempo.

Passar a ferro

1 Seleccione a temperatura necessária (consulte o capítulo

‘Preparação’).

2 Coloque o ferro em posição de descanso.

3 Permita que o ferro aqueça durante dois minutos antes de começar

a engomar.

Se colocar o botão de temperatura numa regulação inferior depois de

engomar a uma alta temperatura, permita que o ferro arrefeça durante

cinco minutos antes de continuar a engomar.

4 Comeceapassaraferro(g.4).

Sugestão: Engomar é mais fácil e demora menos tempo se primeiro

humedecer a peça.

Passar a ferro sem tábua própria

Quando em viagem, é provável que nem sempre tenha uma tábua de

passar a ferro à mão. Neste caso, coloque o pano (apenas em modelos

especícos) ou uma toalha turca dobrada sobre uma superfície rme e

plana.

Certique-se de que a superfície é resistente ao calor e à humidade. Não

utilize superfícies de vidro ou plástico.

Coloque o ferro em posição de descanso.
