Waarschuwing met betrekking tot stilstaande beelden op het TV-scherm
Plasmaschermen hebben als kenmerk dat indien hetzelfde beeld gedurende lange tijd op het
scherm blijft, er een permanent nabeeld op het scherm ontstaat, dat ook fosforinbranding wordt
genoemd. Bij een normaal gebruik van de TV bewegen en veranderen de beelden op het scherm
voortdurend.
Voorbeelden van stilstaande beelden (deze lijst is niet limitatief, u zult er nog andere opmerken
wanneer u TV kijkt) :
•
TV-en DVD-menu’s: opgave van de inhoud van een DVD-disk;
•
Zwarte balken:Wanneer zwarte balken links en rechts op het scherm verschijnen, is het aan te
raden over te schakelen naar een beeldformaat waarbij het beeld het hele scherm vult;
•
Logos van TV-zenders: vormen een probleem als ze helder en stilstaand zijn. Bewegende logo’s
of logo’s met een laag contrast zullen niet zo gauw tot een ongelijkmatige veroudering van het
scherm leiden;
•
Beursinformatie: wordt onderaan het scherm weergegeven;
•
Logo’s van koopzenders en prijsaanduidingen: zijn helder en worden constant of herhaaldelijk
op dezelfde plaats op het TV-scherm weergegeven.
Andere voorbeelden van stilstaande beelden zijn logo’s, computerbeelden, tijdsaanduidingen,
teletekstpagina’s en beelden weergegeven in 4:3 formaat, statische beelden of personages, enz.
Opmerkingen:
- verminder het contrast en de helderheid wanneer u TV kijkt
- inbranding verdwijnt nooit helemaal.
