5 Uw speler bijwerken
Uw speler wordt bestuurd door een intern programma, dat firmware heet. Nieuwe versies
van de firmware kunnen uitgegeven worden nadat u uw speler gekocht heeft.
Een softwareprogramma met de naam Philips Device Manager beheert de firmwarestatus
van uw speler en waarschuwt u als er nieuwe firmware beschikbaar is. U heeft hiervoor een
internetverbinding nodig.
Installeer Philips Device Manager vanaf de meegeleverde cd of download de nieuwste versie
van www.philips.com/support of www.philips.com/usasupport (voor inwoners van de V.S.)
5.1 Handmatig controleren of uw firmware nog
up-to-date is:
1 Sluit de speler aan op de computer.
2 Start Philips Device Manager van Start > Programs (Programma's) > Philips
Digital Audio Player (Philips Digitale Audiospeler) > SA21XX > Philips SA21XX
Device Manager (Philips SA21XX Apparaatbeheer).
3 Controleer of u op het internet bent aangesloten.
4 Klik op Update.
> Philips SA21XX Device Manager controleert of er nieuwe firmware beschikbaar is op het
internet en installeert deze op uw speler
5 Als Update completed op het display verschijnt, op OK klikken en de speler
loskoppelen.
> De melding Updating firmware wordt getoond.
