A: Heel gemakkelijk: Voor elke monitor met LightFrame™ kunt u LightFrame™ 3-software
downloaden van de Philips-website (
www.pcstuff.philips.com). Onthoud de directory waarin u de
nieuwe versie hebt bewaard. Wanneer u klikt op het gedownloade programma-pictogram scant
LightFrame™ 3 uw systeem, worden oude versies verwijderd en vindt upgrading naar
LightFrame™ 3 automatisch plaats. Maar denk eraan: voor upgrading naar LightFrame™ 3 dient
uw monitor uitgerust te zijn met de LightFrame™-faciliteit.
V: Kan ik LightFrame™ activeren over mijn hele scherm?
A: Ja, dat kunt u. En met LightFrame™ 3 wordt dit nog gemakkelijker. Er zijn drie manieren
om dit te doen: 1) Klik met uw muis op de ‘fullscreen’-toets in de LightFrame™ controlebalk. 2) Druk
op de windows-toets en dan op de L-toets. 3) Ga via het OSD-menu naar ‘Extra’, druk op ‘OK’ en
vervolgens op ‘LightFrame™ On”.
V: Wanneer ik LightFrame™ toepas op een tekstdocument krijg ik wazige letters. Wat is
er mis?
A: Er is niets mis. Het effect dat u ziet, wordt veroorzaakt door de scherpe weergave die het
gevolg is van LightFrame™. Dit verbetert de beeldkwaliteit van een foto of video aanzienlijk, maar
heeft een minder goed effect op zwarte tekst tegen een lichte achtergrond. Houd er rekening mee
dat LightFrame™ ontwikkeld is om de beeldkwaliteit van foto’s en video’s te verbeteren; voor tekst
en synthetische afbeeldingen is het echter minder geschikt.
U kunt dit effect verminderen door de scherpteafstelling te verlagen in het configuratiemenu van
LightFrame™ 3.
V: Hoe weet ik of mijn monitor geschikt is voor LightFrame™ 3?
A: Bij alle LightFrame™ 3-monitoren van Philips is het onderstaande logo aangebracht op de rand
aan de voorzijde van de monitor:
