Kapper
Kappnähte sind dekorativ und
strapazierfähig. Daher eignen sie sich
besonders gut für Sport- und
Kinderbekleidung, Herrenhemden und
Jeans. Diese Nähte kommen besonders
gut zur Geltung, wenn Sie Nähgarn in
Kontrastfarben verwenden.
• Legen Sie die Stoffe links auf links.
• Lassen Sie die Schnittkante des
unteren Stoffes ungefähr 1-1,5 cm
vorstehen.
• Diese überstehende Kante legen Sie
nun über die Zunge des Kappers.
• Dabei muss der Stoff ganz unter den
Nähfuß gelegt werden.
• Nähen Sie nun mit dem Geradstich
(Stichlänge 2,5-3 mm) über die
umgeschlagene Kante.
• Danach die Stoffl agen
auseinanderziehen und den
hochstehenden Saum in den Kapper
einführen. Der Saum wird durch den
Fuß umgelegt und an der Kante
übernäht. Die beiden Stoffl agen
während des Nähens
auseinanderziehen.
Kordonierfuß
Das Kordonieren ist eine Technik, bei der
durch das Übersticken von Perlgarn oder
einer feinen Kordel eine gestickte Raupe
entsteht. Dadurch lässt sich ein ähnlicher
Effekt wie bei Soutagearbeiten erzielen,
aber auch Applikationen werden durch die
plastische Raupe ausdrucksvoller.
• Zeichnen Sie das gewünschte Motiv
auf den Stoff. Vermeiden Sie zu enge
Rundungen oder zu spitze Ecken.
• Setzen Sie den Kordonierfuß ein und
legen Sie das Einlaufgarn in die linke
vordere Rille des Nähfußes. Legen Sie
den Einlauffaden in die hintere Rille
unter den Nähfuß.
• Wählen Sie einen schmalen, dichten
Zikzack-Stich an.
Modell 1022, 1032: Wählen Sie mit
dem Programm-Einstellknopf (9) nach
Programm D den Zick-Zack-Stich in
gewünschter Brei te an. Die Stichlänge
stellen Sie auf “Knopfl och”.
Modell 1042: Wählen Sie mit dem
Programm-Einstellknopf (9) Programm D
an. Die Stichlänge stellen Sie auf Symbol
“Knopfl och”, die Stichbreite auf “2” ein.
• Überstechen Sie nun mit dem schmalen
und dichten Zickzack-Stich das
Einlaufgarn. Dabei entsteht die
sogenannte Raupennaht.
TIPP: Einen besonderen Effekt erzielen Sie
durch das Übersticken von mittelstarkem
Perlgarn mit andersfarbigem Nähgarn.
