This
tension
is
set
correctly

a
slight
re
sistance

to
be
overcome
when
pulling
the thread.
Numbers
0
to
10
indicate
different
degrees
of
tension
on
the
upper
tension
dial.
The
higher
the
number,
the
tighter
the
tension.
For
ordinary
sewing
operations.
the
upper
tension
should
be
set
at
about
5.
