tighter
tension

wanted,

turning
the
lever
of

tension

controller
spring
is

adjusted

into

groove
of

needle
bar
and

groove

left.

needle
as
far
up
as
possible,
then
tighten

needle
clamp
again.

The
regulation
of
the
length
of
the
stitches
is
done
by
means
of
screw

Switching
to
backward
stitches

Changing

length

stitches

accomplished
whilst
sewing.
When
embroidering
and
darning,
choose
the
0-position,
using
the
backward
stitch
only
for
tying
forward
seams.
