** Het totale gewicht van de aanhanger kan, binnen het maximaal toegestane treingewicht, worden verhoogd indien de belading van de auto wordt verminderd.
Houd er in dat geval rekening mee dat het trekken van een aanhanger met een licht beladen auto een negatieve invloed heeft op het weggedrag.
Het maximaal toegestane treingewicht en de aanhangergewichten gelden tot een hoogte van maximaal 1000 meter; het opgegeven aanhangergewicht
dient voor elke extra 1000 meter met 10% te worden verminderd.
Bij het trekken van een aanhanger mag niet harder worden gereden dan 100 km/h of de plaatselijk geldende snelheidslimiet (in Nederland wettelijk 90 km/h).
Bij hoge buitentemperaturen kunnen de prestaties van de auto minder worden om de motor te beschermen. Als de buitentemperatuur meer dan 37°C
bedraagt, moet het treingewicht worden verminderd.
