Putting the wheel back in place
Put the wheel back in place.
Unscrew the yellow central bolt a
few turns, then put it in place in
the centre of the wheel.
Tighten the central bolt fully until it
clicks to secure the wheel firmly.
Put the tool holder back in the
centre of the wheel and clip it.
Put the boot floor back in place.
Wheels fitted with the Tyre Under-
Inflation Detection system
For further information refer to "Tyre
under-inflation detection" in the safe-
ty section.

The wheel must be posi-
tioned flat, in the centre of its
housing.
For your safety, always
change the wheel:
- on level, stable, non-slippery
ground,
- with the handbrake on and the igni-
tion switched off,
- with first or reverse gear engaged
(position
P
for the automatic gear-
box),
- with the vehicle chocked.
Never go underneath a vehicle that
is supported only by a jack (use a
ramp).
After changing the wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts and
the tyre pressure checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer as soon as pos-
sible,
- have the punctured tyre repaired
and refit it to the vehicle as soon as
possible.
Recommendations when using
the temporary spare wheel*
Your vehicle may be equipped with a
spare wheel which has a different rim
to the standard wheel.
After use, it must be replaced as
quickly as possible.
Observe the following instructions to
avoid altering the behaviour of the
vehicle:
- do not exceed
50 mph (80 km/h)
,
- do not fit a wheel trim,
- drive with care,
- check the tyre pressure indicated
on the label.
