Connecting to computer
In Windows Me/2000/XP/Vista, the player is seen as removable disc
connected to USB port. When connected to computer, the player is
being powered from USB port. Press M if you want to use the player.
When the player is connected to computer, the current activity is
displayed on player’s screen.
Software installation
In order to use the Private Space feature and to upgrade player’s
firmware, please visit
www.pentagram.eu/support to download the
MP3 Player Utilities package. After archive is downloaded use
application such us 7-Zip, WinZip or WinRar to extract its content and
then double-click on Setup.exe file to begin MP3 Player Utilities
installation. When installed this utilities can be found in MP3 Player
Utilities x.xx group in Start menu.
Private Space function
Private Space function can be used to divide player’s memory into 2
partitions in any proportions. One of them can be encrypted and
protected with password. Data stored on this partition will be safe from
unauthorized access.
Note: Dividing or merging player’s partitions will delete all data stored
on these partitions. Backup your data before dividing/merging.
To use Private Space function follow these steps:
