SSO tab
SSO (Single Sign-on) is a service that reduces the need of separate logins to many individual
services. Once logged in, the user has access to different services. In this case, SSO is used to
authenticate the user in the operating system (logging into the system) and in the wireless
network (authentication of the user's wireless station), which uses the LEAP or EAP-FAST
protocol for authentication. This tab is not available in Windows Vista/7 systems. In these
systems, SSO configuration options are located on 802.1x tab when creating the profile for the
link (see SSO tab section on page 19).
Enable SSO Feature – Turn on the SSO service. Then select the way in which the user will
submit the authentication data.
• Use ID and Password in Winlogon – Use the Windows system login identifier (ID) and
password.
• Use ID and Password in Profile – Use the wireless network profile identifier (ID) and
password in RaUI application.
• Prompt ID and Password Dialog – Display the dialogue window enabling you to enter the
identifier (ID) and password.
Enable Pre-Logon Connectivity – When you select this option, the network from the selected
profile will be available for the user before logging into the operating system. It is particularly
important in wireless user login to the domain in Windows XP system.
Profile List (only support LEAP or EAP-FAST authentication) – List of available profiles.
Select Profile – Select the profile activated for SSO service. Select the profile that contains the
data of the network authenticated using the LEAP or EAP-FAST protocol.
Information of selected profile – Information about the profile selected from the list:
• Profile Name – Name of the profile.
• SSID – Wireless network SSID in the profile.
• Authentication – Authentication type that the access point uses.
