Podłączanie komputerów do Cerberusa

Komputery i inne urządzenia sieciowe mogą być podłączane do routera Cerberus na dwa

różne sposoby:

Podłączanie przewodowe (interfejs LAN)

Wszystkie porty Ethernetowe (LAN) routera wykonane są w technologii umożliwiającej

automatyczne włączenie autoprzeplotu, jeśli jest wymagany. Router automatycznie

dobierze maksymalną dostępną prędkość połączenia dzięki funkcji autonegocjacji prędkości.

Transmisja z prędkością 10/100 Mb/s wymaga kabla sieciowego (tzw. skrętka) kategorii 5

zakończonego wtyczkami RJ-45, zaciśniętymi zgodnie ze standardem TIA/EIA-568-A/B.

Jeden koniec kabla należy podłączyć do karty sieciowej zainstalowanej w komputerze, drugi

koniec zaś do jednego z portów LAN routera – po poprawnym podłączeniu dioda

odpowiadająca danemu portowi LAN zacznie się świecić.

Podłączenie bezprzewodowe (interfejs WLAN)

Aby możliwe było połączenie komputera do routera Cerberus za pomocą sieci

bezprzewodowej, karta WLAN musi być poprawnie zainstalowana w systemie, router musi

znajdować się w zasięgu pracy karty bezprzewodowej komputera oraz należeć do tej samej

podsieci.
