OVEN – POSSIBILITIES
Hot air (setting 4)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C. The
air in the oven is heated by the hot air
element. The fan in the back of the oven blows
hot air into the oven. This is used to heat the
dishes.
You can use several levels at the same time,
thus saving energy. Because of the intensive
heat you can select a temperature of
20 - 30 °C lower than indicated in the
conventional recepy.
Turbo grill (setting 5)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C. By
turning the switch to position you can grill
with the ventilator switched on. The ventilator
ensures you that the heat is distributed
evenly.
Affix the switch protection plate before grilling
with the door open.
Warming position (setting 6)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C. The
hot air element and the upper heating element
are switched on. This position is suitable for
browning and for keeping dishes warm and for
the brief extra baking of soufflés and meringues.
Turbo conventional (setting 7)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C. The
air in the oven is heated by the radiant
elements at the top and bottom of the oven.
The ventilator ensures you that the heat is
distributed evenly.
You can use several levels at the same time,
thus saving energy. Because of the intensive
heat you can select a temperature of
20 - 30 °C lower than indicated in the
conventional recepy. Use this setting for
baking.
Intensive roasting (setting 8)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C. The
hot air in combination with the grill element
ensures that the heat is evenly distributed. This
way of cooking is suitable for dishes with a
golden-brown crust and a soft inside. When
using this mode keep the oven door closed.
Mode/thermostat knob oven 2
The oven is equipped with a combined mode and
thermostat switch.
Conventional
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 260 °C.
The dish is heated by the radiation heat of the
upper and lower elements. Always place the
dish in the centre of the oven.
This position is suitable for the preparation of
dishes in the traditional manner. The dishes rise
well and become nicely browned.
Bottom heat
Only the bottom heat is switched on. This
setting is suitable for short extra baking time
for pie- and pizza bases.
