DÉCONGÉLATION DES ALIMENTS CONGELÉS

• La décongélation est une étape importante dans le stockage des aliments

conservés par congélation. Les aliments doivent décongeler de manière

appropriée.

• Les méthodes de décongélation recommandées sont les suivantes :

- dans le réfrigérateur,

- dans de l’eau froide,

- dans un four à micro-ondes ou un four conventionnel possédant un

programme de décongélation adéquat.

• Certains produits congelés peuvent être préparés sans décongélation

préalable. Le producteur l’indiquera sur l’emballage.

• Les aliments doivent être emballés en petites portions. Ainsi, ils décongèlent

plus rapidement.

• Utilisez les aliments complètement ou partiellement décongelés le plus

rapidement possible. Les bactéries présentes dans les aliments décongelés

sont réactivées et les aliments se gâtent rapidement. C’est notamment le cas

des fruits, légumes et plats tout prêts.

• Ne recongelez pas des aliments partiellement ou complètement décongelés.
