MAINTENANCE

• Clean the freezer with a regular, non-caustic cleaning agent and

lukewarm water. Do not use harsh or abrasive agents.

• Dry the inside of the freezer. Switch the appliance on and set the

thermostat to its highest setting. After 24 hours you can put the

thermostat back to its normal setting.

You can accelerate defrosting by placing a bowl of hot water in the

freezer.

Warning

Never remove the ice layer with sharp objects, defrosting sprays, a

hair-dryer, an electric heater or suchlike. This can be unsafe and cause

irreparable damage to the appliance.

Lighting

Replacing the lamp

In case of malfunctioning, you can replace the lamp of the inside

lighting yourself.

1. Disconnect the appliance from the power.

2. Press the blade of a screwdriver in the slot at the top of the fitting.

Push the fitting upwards.

3. Replace the old lamp (B) with a new lamp (E14).

4. Put the cover of the lamp back, wait 5 minutes and then put the

plug back into the socket.
