Grill
You can heat dishes with the grill function and brown them without
using the microwaves. The combi-microwave has a top and bottom
heating element which can be used independently of each other.
1. Turn the function knob to the ‘grill’ function.
The display shows the top element indicator, and ‘GRILL 1’ and
‘SET TIME’ appear alternately.
2. Press the function button to select ‘GRILL 2’.
▷ With ‘GRILL 1’, only the top element is switched on.
▷ With ‘GRILL 2’, the top and bottom heating element are both
turned on.
The display shows the selected grill function and ‘SET TIME’
alternately.
3. Turn the ‘time’ dial to set the time.
▷ You can set a time up to 60 minutes.
▷ Turn the ‘time’ knob anticlockwise to go to 60 minutes
straight away, or turn clockwise to start from 0 seconds.
The display shows the set time, and a moment later the grill
function and the text ‘PRESS START’ alternately.
4. Press the start button.
The microwave starts with the chosen settings; the microwave
light comes on, the turntable starts rotating and the time in the
display counts down.
• You can increase or decrease the set time during cooking in
1-minute steps. To do that, press the ‘more’ or ‘less’ button.
Oven with pre-heat
When using the oven function, it is advisable to pre-heat (except
if the temperature is 40 °C). The maximum pre-heating time is
30 minutes. If these 30 minutes of pre-heating are not followed
by the cooking of a meal, the oven indicator and the pre-heat
temperature will be shown in the display. The pre-heat will switch
off automatically after 15 minutes.
1. Turn the function knob to the ‘oven’ function.
The display shows the oven indicator and the top/bottom
element indicator alternately with ‘100C’ and ‘PRESS START TO
PRE-HEAT OR SET TIME’.
2. Press (a number of times) on the function button to set the
temperature (from 100 °C to 250 °C).
3. Press the start button.
