POSSIBILITIES
Fan + conventional (setting 6)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 250 °C.
The air in the oven is heated by the radiant
elements at the top and bottom of the oven.
The fan in the rear wall of the oven draws air
in from outside the oven and the air is then
dispersed via an air-distribution plate. In this
way, the air in the oven is continuously in
motion.
Fan + grill (setting 7)
Thermostat setting: max. 200 °C.
By choosing setting 7, you can grill with the
fan on. Excess radiant heat, which does not
radiate directly onto the food, will be
circulated round the food by the fan.
If using the grill with the door open, pull the
built-in protective plate at the top of the oven
10 cm forwards.
Hot air (setting 8)
Thermostat setting: from 50° C to 250° C.
The air in the oven is heated by the radiant
elements at the top and bottom of the oven.
The air in the oven is sucked in by the fan in
the back wall of the oven, and then circulated
by the air distributor. The air in the oven is
therefore constantly in motion, making this
method of heating ideal for baking at different
levels at the same time.
Fan + central grill (setting 9)
Thermostat setting: max. 200 °C.
Grilling small dishes and small quantities of
food on this setting will save you energy.
Place the dish in the centre of the oven on the
grill rack. The radiant heat is blown around
the dish by the fan. If using the grill with the
door open, pull the built-in protective plate at
the top of the oven 10 cm forwards.
Fan + bottom heat (setting 10)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 250 °C.
This setting is particularly suitable for baking
flans with moist fillings, fruit tarts, and moist
cakes in tins or on baking sheets. Place the
dish on the first or second shelf from the
bottom.
Cooling fan
The cooling fan comes on as soon as the oven
is turned on. After cooking at high
temperatures, it is advisable to leave the fan
on for about 5 minutes to prevent the front
from overheating and to prevent condensation
forming.
Set the function knob to any setting and set
the thermostat to 0.
POSSIBILITIES
Indicator light see fig. 2 (B)
The indicator light comes on while the oven is
warming up. Once the set temperature has
been reached, the light goes out.
Thermostat control knob see fig. 2 (A)
You use the thermostat control knob to set the
temperature. The temperature range is
continuous.
Function knob see fig. 2 (C)

Conventional (setting 1)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 250 °C.
The oven is fitted with one heating element
under the oven base and another against the
roof of the oven. When preparing puff-pastry
recipes, such as pastry rolls, sausage rolls
and apple dumplings, or cream puffs,
meringue pastries, soufflés, breads and
biscuits, the best results will be achieved by
using the upper and lower heating elements.
Grill (setting 2)
Thermostat setting: max. 200 °C.
Flat pieces of meat, chicken or other poultry
may be grilled directly on the grid shelf. This
grill setting is also suitable for toasting bread.
Bottom heat (setting 3)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 250 °C.
On setting 3, only the bottom heat is switched
on. This setting is ideally suited for baking
savoury tarts.
Hot air + conventional (setting 4)
Thermostat setting: from 50 °C to 250 °C.
Especially suitable for yeast dough; the dough
rises extremely well with this method of
heating. Ideal for pizzas.
Thawing (setting 5)
Thermostat setting: 0.
You can thaw food using the convector oven
blower. Remove the wrapping and put the
frozen food in a dish. Slide the bowl onto the
rack on the lowest shelf. Set the function knob
to setting 5 (the fan now blows cold air in).
