ASSEMBLY
Assembly of built-in gas hob
Please note:
Do not install a hob next to a high cupboard or
wall made of flammable material. (If there is
no alternative, ensure that there is a minimal
distance of 110 mm between the outer edge of
the hob and the wall in question. Also ensure
that there is a minimum distance of 65 cm
between the hob and any overhead extractor
fan which may be installed (see fig. 1).
■ Draw out the hole to be cut on the worktop
(see fig. 1).
■ The minimum worktop thickness to be used
with a built-in oven is 20 mm. The maximum
thickness is 40 mm.
■ Stick the sealing strips around the hole. Do
this very carefully, without any overlapping
and in such a way that the sealing strips
butt against each other. On the short sides,
place the strips at a distance of 12 mm from
the hole. On the long sides, put them right
against the edge.
■ Place the appliance in the hole and secure
it with the clamps (see fig. 11).
■ Carefully cut away an excess sealing
material along the outside of the appliance
(see ‘B’, fig. 11).
