バリアブルインストルメント入力
VIP 2 ではエレクトリックギター、アコースティックギターまたはベースギターを入力できます。3つのインス
トルメントタイプすべてにアンプモデルがあります。アンプに接続し、右側でインストルメントタイプを選択
します（アイテム1）。ここでアンプはその入力感度とゲイン構造が選択内容に合わせて変わります。
注:VIP アンプは、パッシブエレクトロニクスの楽器に使用する設計になっています。アクティブエレクトロニクス
の楽器を使用するとき、場合によっては、クリッピング（歪み）を避けるため楽器のボリュームを下げる必要があ
ります。
インストルメントタイプ/プリセット
Vypyr® VIP シリーズは、エレクトリックギター、アコースティックギター、ベースギターに使用する設計になっ
ています。これらのボタンで、アンプに使用する楽器のタイプを選択します。それぞれ4プリセットのバンクが
4つあり、プリセットは合計16になります。プリセットバンクの名前は、使用される楽器のタイプに関連付けら
れます。現在のバンク内のプリセットにアクセスするとき、ボタンをタップし続けると LED の色が変わり、選
択したプリセットがわかるようになっています。設定に加えた変更は（マスターボリュームレベルを除き）、必
要に応じてプリセットに保存して戻すことができます。ロードしたプリセットに設定を保存するには、そのバ
ンクボタンを、LED が点滅を始めるまで押し続け、次に LED が点滅を止めるまでボタンを押し続けます。タ
ップテンポを押すと保存がキャンセルされます。現在のプリセットに加えた変更を別のプリセットに保存す
るには、そのバンクボタンを、LED が点滅を始めるまで押し続けます。プリセットを保存できる他のバンクの
LED も点滅します。バンクボタンをタップしてバンクを選択、保存します – 点滅は続きますが、他のバンクの
LED はオフになります。バンクの LED が上書きするプリセットの色ではない場合、色がプリセット番号に一
致するまでバンクボタンをもう一度タップします。保存を完了するには、LED が点滅を止めるまでバンクボタ
ンを押し続けます。タップテンポを押すと保存がキャンセルされます。
インストルメント/ストンプエンコーダ
モデリングアンプでは初めて、インストルメントモデルにアクセスできます。エレクトリックギターを使用す
る際、アコースティックギターからバリトンギター、さらにシンセまで、10種類のインストルメントモデルにア
クセスできます。エンコーダのもう１つの面はストンプボックス専用なので、ストンプボックスエフェクトの
他の部分すべてにアクセスできます。このノブを回してプリアンプエフェクト（ある場合）を選択します。エン
コーダを軽く押して編集モードにします(アイテム12)。いくつかのエフェクトとベースシミュレーションには
小文字の 'm' が付きます。monophonic effect があるためです。そのため、エフェクトが正常に働くためには
一度に1音を鳴らすよう注意する必要があります。このエンコーダの LED はバイカラー（2色）です。エンコー
ダの下に、どの色がどのエフェクトかを示すガイドがあります。
