Pinning apps
a) Call up the Start menu and open "All Apps".
b) Scroll to the desired app in the list using the mouse or the click pad.
c) Click with the right mouse button (or the right button on the click pad)
on the desired app and select "Pin to 'Start'".
Organising and removing apps
a) Call up the Start menu.
b) Hover the mouse (or use the click pad) over the desired app in the pinned
app area.
c) To arrange, press and hold the left mouse button (or the left click pad
button) and move the icon to the desired position.
d) Press the right mouse button (or the right click pad button) and select the
desired function. E.g. "Unpin from Start" to remove the app from the list.
i ADVICE
This does not delete the affected app completely, but only removes it from the
app area of the Start menu.
16. Accessing the settings
You will ind the button to call up the settings (a cogwheel symbol)
in the upper area of the Start menu.
Alternatively, you can open the settings by pressing the Windows key together
with the I key ([Windows] + [I]).
17. Connecting the Notebook to the Internet
Connecting to a stationary wireless network (WiFi)
a) Call up the settings (see section „Accessing and using the Start menu“
on page 23).
b) In the settings, click "Navigation" (three horizontal lines) and then on
"Network & Internet".
c) Click the WLAN slider or the word "Off".
The word "On" now appears next to the slider.
i ADVICE
The notebook searches for all available wireless networks in the vicinity and
then displays them as a list ("Show available networks").
