Starten van Motor
1. Om een koude motor te starten moet men eerst drie (3) maal op de elektrostarter (primer) drukken. Druk
stevig. Deze stap kunt u meestal overslaan als de motor reeds een paar minuten heeft gelopen.
2. Zet de regelhendel op “SNEL” .
3. Houdt de bovenste hendel stevig vast en duw snel op de starthendel. Laat de startkabel niet terugklap-
pen.
Afzetten Motor
Om de motor uit te zetten dient u de hendel op “STOP” te zetten.
N.B.: Bij koeler weer kan het nodig zijn om de voorinspuitstappen te herhalen. Bij warmer weer kan te
veel voorinspuiten ertoe leiden dat de motor verzuipt en niet start. Als u de motor verzuipt, moet u enkele
minuten wachten alvorens hem te starten en de voorinspuitstappen NIET herhalan.
Come Mettere in Funzione il Motore
1. Per mettere in funzione il motore da freddo, tirare il tiro a strappo per tre (3) volte prima di cercare di
mettere l’apparecchiatura in funzione. La presa sul tiro a strappo deve essere sicura. Solitamente evitare
questa fase quando si mette in funzione un motore che è già stato in funzione per qualche minuto.
2. Spostare la leva di regolazione in posizione “VELOCE” .
3. Mantenere con fermezza in posizione la leva superiore e tirare velocemente il tiro a strappo. Non permet-
tere al tiro a strappo di accensione di riarrotolarsi.
Come Spegnere il Motore
Per arrestare il motore, riportare la leva di regolazione in posizione “STOP” .
N.B.: Nei climi freddi può rendersi necessario ripetere le fasi di iniezione del carburante col cicchetto. Nei
climi più caldi l’uso eccessivo del cicchetto può causare l’ingolfamento del motore. In caso di ingolfamento,
attendere qualche minuto prima di tentare di avviare nuovamente il motore. NON ripetere le fasi di iniezione
col cicchetto.
Para Hacer Arrancar el Motor
1. Para hacer arrancar un motor frío, empuje el cebador tres (3)
veces antes de iniciar. Empuje fi rmemente. Este paso nor-
malmente no es necesario cuando se hace arrancar un motor
que ya ha estado funcionando por unos cuantos minutos.
2. Mover el gatillo de la maneta en la posición RÁPIDA .
3. Sujete la barra de control superior y tire del mango del ar-
rancador rápidamente. No permita que el cordón arrancador
se devuelva abruptamente.
Para Parar el Moto
Para parar el motor, mover el gatillo de la maneta todo atrás
hasta la posición de PARADA .
AVISO: En climas más fríos puede que sea necesario repetir los
pasos del cebado. En climas más calurosos el cebar demasiado
puede producir el ahogo y el motor no va a arrancar. Si se ahoga
el motor espere unos cuantos minutos antes de tratar de hacerlo
arrancar y NO repita los pasos del cebado.

Trimming Tips
Move throttle trigger to the FAST position. If the weeds
or grass are tall and thick, operate the trimmer at a slower
walking speed.
Frequently clean the underside of the grass trimmer to remove
any grass build up. Keep top of engine around starter clear
and clean of grass clippings and chaff. This will help engine
air fl ow and extend engine life. See “TO REMOVE ENGINE
COVER” in the Maintenance section of this manual.
For best results and longer lasting line, use the ends of the
line to do the cutting. This is easily done by moving slowly
through very thick and heavy weeds.
Use the left side of trimmer when trimming along fences, walls,
owerbeds and other such objects.
If trimmer lines become too short, it will take longer to com-
plete the job. If trimmer lines are worn to less than half their
original length, they should be replaced. See “TO REPLACE
TRIMMER LINE” in the Maintenance section of this manual.
Trimmer head contact with concrete, asphalt or other hard
surfaces may cause premature wear of the ball on bottom of
trimmer head.
CAUTION: The grass trimmer should not be used on ground
that slopes more than 15°. This could cause engine lubrication
problems.
