Before use
Dust/chip extraction
CAUTION!
Please refer to the section entitled "Safety
instructions".
Only use the appliance in the vacuum func-
tion when the dust bag is fitted. Otherwise,
particles can be accelerated towards the
user.
CAUTION!
First fit the angle piece
to the dust extrac-
tion connection if, for example, you want
to vacuum sharp-edged or metal swarf. Oth-
erwise, these could damage the dust bag .
Dust extraction unit with dust bag:
First, push the hose clip
over the opening on
the dust bag
.
Push the opening of the dust bag
onto the
dust extraction connection .
Push the hose clip
over the dust extraction
connection
.
Tighten the hose clip
by turning its wing nut
clockwise.
NOTE
Empty the dust bag
in good time and
regularly in order to guarantee optimal dust
extraction. To do this, open the zip on the
underside of the dust bag
.
Using attachments
You can attach a range of blow-out and vacuum
attachments to the appliance in order to reach
inaccessible locations.
Push the flexible hose
over the opening
.
After this, push the required nozzle
onto the
flexible hose
. Alternatively, you can also fit
the extension tube over the opening
on
its own.
Use
Connecting the compressed air supply
NOTE
The appliance may only be operated using
cleaned, condensate-free compressed air,
and the maximum operating pressure of 10
bar must not be exceeded on the appliance.
To ensure that you can regulate the air pres-
sure, the compressed air source should be
equipped with a (filter) pressure reducer.
Connect the connector nipple
to the com-
pressed air supply using a quick coupling.
Switching on and off
Switching the compressed air appliance on:
press the operating lever
completely down.
Switching the compressed air appliance off:
Release the operating lever
.
Disconnect the appliance from the compressed
air source after you finish work.
NOTE
First detach the hose from the compressed air
source (compressor) before disconnecting the
supply hose from the appliance. This prevents
the supply hose from thrashing about.
