Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk
of an electric shock.
If the mains power cable of this appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer or its service department, or a similarly
qualified person to prevent hazards.
Use in weather protected rooms only
Unplug if you will not be using the device for
more than 30 minutes.
Let the device completely cool down after use
and before storing.
Do not use on material containing asbestos.
Avoid the risk of injury and burns as
well as heath hazards:
Risk of burning! The glue and the nozzle
reach over plus 105 °C.
Do not touch the nozzle or the glue. Do not let
the hot glue touch people or animals. If there
is contact with skin immediately put the affec-
ted area under cold running water for several
minutes. Do not try to remove the glue from
your skin.
Always run the power cable away from the
appliance to the rear.
Original accessories / tools
Use only the accessories and attachments
detailed in the operating instructions, or those
which are compatible with the device.
Start-up
Prepare the area to be glued:
Do not use any flammable solvents to clean the
area.
The room temperature and the temperature of
the material to be glued may not be colder
than +5 °C and no warmer than + 50 °C.
The area must be clean, dry and grease free.
Smooth out the surface before gluing.
Warm up cooled material such as e.g. steel for
a better join.

3. Let the device warm up for 5 minutes. The
device is now ready to use.
Gluing:
Press the feed trigger

to start and control
the flow of glue.
1. Apply the glue in dots. Apply the glue in a
zigzag line on flexible material e.g. textiles.
2. Press both glued together work-pieces together
immediately after applying the glue for
approx. 30 seconds. The glued area is resilient
after approx. 5 minutes.

gluing.
Switching the device off:
Pull the mains plug from the socket.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The low temperature glue gun is maintenance free.
WARNING! Unplug the mains plug from the
socket before cleaning.
Always keep the device clean, dry and free of
oil or grease.
Do not allow liquids to enter the equipment.
Please use a soft cloth for cleaning the
housing. Never use petrol, solvents or cleaning
agents that attack plastic.
Service
Have your appliance
repaired by qualified specialist per-
sonnel using OEM parts only. This will
maintain the safety of the device.
If the plug or mains
lead needs to be replaced, always
have the replacement carried out by
the manufacturer or its service centre.
This will maintain the safety of the device.
