CAUTION
Use caution when connectin

to an AUX Port. AUX Port connectors are
similar to the connectors for the Network Port and DSX Port (if unit has
Drop/DSX option). Accidental connection to either of the AUX Ports with
either of these facilities may dama

e the AUX Port electrical interface.
The AUX 1 and AUX 2 Port pinouts are shown in Table 3-4 and Table 3-5.

In addition to providing an EIA-232 Auxiliary Port, AUX 2 also provides a local con-
sole connection to the Base module or Option Adapter.
