Disse digitale surround-systemer blev udviklet af DTS (Digital Theater Systems,
Inc.). DTS-ES, med sin ekstra surround bagkanal, vil omringe dig med lyd. DTS
96/24 leverer multikanalslyd med en højere renhed (96 kHz/24 bit).

Du kan anvende PCM-signaler som indgang med samplingfrekvenser op til
192 kHz via stikket DIGITAL IND KOAKSIAL 1. De andre digitale stik tillader
indgangsignaler på op til 96 kHz. Displayet vil vise samplingfrekvensen,
når du anvender 88,2-kHz, 96-kHz, 176,4-kHz, eller 192-kHz signaler som
indgangsignal.
CD, DVD-
audio osv.
Dette apparat kan ikke afspille Dolby Digital RF eller MPEG-audiosignaler.
Bemærk
Dolby Pro LogicΙΙx, NEO:6, og SFC tilføjer surround-effekter ved at “tilføje” kanaler, så hvis disse funktioner er slukkede, vil apparatet afspille det
antal kanaler, som findes i den originale kilde.
For eksempel, hvis der er tale om en 5.1-kanals kilde, vil der ikke være nogen gengivelse fra de bagerste surround-højttalere.
SURROUND-funktionen slukkes, når indgangskilden er 192-kHz PCM.
