Title Procedure Remarks, etc.

Camera Mode:
Point the Lens at the
picture which is to
serve as the title.
Creating Titles
Titles can be created and recorded on the
MultiMediaCard.
Original titles are added after the preset titles.

Set [CREATE TITLE] on
the [CARD SETUP]
Sub-Menu to [YES].
[CREATE TITLE] cannot be selected when
[1200k900] has been selected as the [PICTURE
SIZE] setting while the [TAPE/CARD] Selector is set
to [CARD].
The size of the title picture is [640k480] regardless of
the [PICTURE SIZE] setting.
If it is hard to set the focus, use the Manual Focus
Function. (p. 30)
Title contrast may not be clear in areas with a minimal
difference between light and dark or on the borders
between light and dark even when the title contrast is
adjusted.
If a small object is used as the title, the title may not
appear clearly.
When original titles are created, the number of
pictures which can be recorded on the
MultiMediaCard will decrease.
When the number of pictures which can be recorded
on the MultiMediaCard is low, the original title may
not be created.
Concerning the Colour Selection
When the [PUSH] Dial is turned to select the
colours while a title is being created, the colours
will change as below.
The colour sequence can be reversed by reversing
the direction in which the [PUSH] Dial is turned.

title and put the Movie
Camera in the Still
Playback Mode.

Set [COLOUR] and [LUMINANCE]:
Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [COLOUR] or
[LUMINANCE] and press it.
[COLOUR]: When the [PUSH] Dial is turned, the
title colours change. Press the
[PUSH] Dial to enter the colours.
[LUMINANCE]: When the [PUSH] Dial is turned, the
title contrast is adjusted. Press the
[PUSH] Dial to enter the adjustment
result.

Press the [PHOTO
SHOT] Button.
The Menu for adjusting
the title now appears.
Select [RETURN] to
perform photoshot
again.

Record the title:
Turn the [PUSH] Dial to select [RECORD] and
press it.
