Descongelar con Microondas
TIEMPOS DE REPOSO
Las porciones pequeñas de comida se
deben cocinar casi inmediatamente
después de su descongelación. Es normal
que los trozos de comida más grandes
estén congelados en el centro. Antes de
cocinarlos, déjelos reposar durante un
mínimo de una hora. Durante este tiempo
de reposo la temperatura se hace
homogénea en todo el alimento y se
descongela por conducción. Nota: Si no va
a cocinar los alimentos inmediatamente,
guárdelos en el frigorí co. Nunca vuelva a
congelar comida ya descongelada sin
haberla cocinado antes.
CARNES PARA ASADOS Y AVES
Es preferible poner la carne para asar en
un plato boca abajo o en una rejilla de
plástico para que no pierda sus jugos. Es
fundamental proteger las partes más
delicadas del alimento con pequeños
trozos de papel de aluminio para impedir
que se cocinen. No es peligroso emplear
pequeños trozos de papel de aluminio
dentro de su horno, si procura que no
entren en contacto con las paredes del
horno.
CARNE PICADA O DADOS DE
CARNE Y PESCADO
Ya que la parte exterior de estos alimentos
se descongela con mucha rapidez, es
necesario separar los trozos con frecuencia
mientras se descongelan y sáqueles
cuando ya estén descongelados.
PORCIONES PEQUEÑAS
Las chuletas y los trozos de pollo se deben
separar lo antes posible para que se
descongelen por igual. Las zonas grasas y
los extremos se descongelan más
rápidamente, póngalos cerca del centro del
plato giratorio o protéjalos.
PAN
El pan requiere mas tiempo para poder
descongelar el centro de este. Pero el
tiempo debe ser corto si son panecillos o el
pan esta cortado a rebanadas.
