When using this vacuum cleaner, please observe these basic precautions.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
Do not leave the vacuum cleaner plugged in to mains outlet. Unplug from the outlet when not in use and
before cleaning the appliance or undertaken maintenance operations.
Electric shocks can occur if used outdoors or on wet surfaces.
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision; young chil-
dren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not use with damaged power supply cord or plug. If the vacuum cleaner is not working as it should
be, or has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come into contact with water, consult an authori-
sed Panasonic Service Centre.
Do not pull or carry by power supply cord, use power supply cord as a handle, close a door on power
supply cord, pull power supply cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run vacuum cleaner over the
power supply cord. Keep power supply cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair
and anything that may block or reduce air flow.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner without filters and/or dust bag in place. Never try to patch a broken dust
bag.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where they may
be present.
This appliance should be serviced by an authorised Panasonic Service Centre , and only genuine
Panasonic spare parts should be used.
Use extra care when cleaning stairs. Keep hold of the handle to avoid the cleaner fall.
NOTE: These vacuum cleaners have been designed for general household use and are not suitable
for use in a garage, garden or to suck up liquids.
Para evitar cualquier riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica o daños personales, lea atentamente
las siguientes precauciones de seguridad antes de poner en marcha la aspiradora.
No deje la aspiradora enchufada si no se utiliza, o bien cuando se realice cualquier servicio de manteni-
miento.
No utilice la aspiradora en superficies mojadas o en exteriores.
Preste especial atención cuando esté utilizando la aspiradora cerca de los niños.
No utilizar la aspiradora con el cable o la clavija dañada. En caso de mal funcionamiento, por razones
tales como haberse mojado o dejado en el exterior, consulte al Servicio de Asistencia Técnica autoriza-
do Panasonic.
No deje que el cable pase por esquinas afiladas. Para desplazar la aspiradora, no tire del cable, utilizar
el asa de la aspiradora. Cuando cierre una puerta cerciórese que ésta no pilla el cable. Mantener el cable
apartado de focos de calor.
No coja la clavija ni la aspiradora con las manos mojadas.
No use la aspiradora si tiene alguna abertura obstruida, ya que se reduciría el paso de aire provocando
sobrecalentamientos que pueden dañar la aspiradora.
No desenchufe la aspiradora sin antes haberla parado.
No utilice la aspiradora sin los filtros ni la bolsa de papel. En caso de que la bolsa estuviese rota, nunca
intente repararla.
Mantenga los cabellos, piezas de ropa, dedos y manos alejados de aberturas y partes móviles.
No aspire líquidos combustibles o inflamables tales como gasolina, alcohol, petróleo, etc., ni utilice la
aspiradora en lugares donde se puedan hallar dichos productos.
No intente reparar la aspiradora. En caso de necesidad, llévela a un Servicio de Asistencia Técnica auto-
rizado Panasonic. Utilice siempre las piezas de recambio originales.
Preste especial atención cuando limpie en escaleras. Coja la aspiradora con una mano por el asa, para
evitar que ésta se vuelque.
NOTA: No olvide que estas aspiradoras han sido diseñadas para uso doméstico. No deben utilizar-
se en garajes, ni exteriores, ni para aspirar líquidos.
