Battery recharge

Making/answering calls
Problem Cause/solution
Noise is heard, sound cuts in
and out.
R You are using the phone in an area with high electrical
interference. Move to a location away from sources of
interference.
R The GSM network signal is weak. Check the current
status and move to a new location until more bars are
visible (page 12).
The phone does not ring. R The ringer volume is turned off. Adjust ringer volume
(page 15).
R Night mode is on. Turn it off (page 31).
I cannot make a call. R The phone is not in a GSM network service coverage
area. Check the current status and move to a new
location until more bars are visible (page 12).
R Outgoing calls are barred. Deactivate the outgoing call
bar settings (page 28).
R Your call is withheld. Change the show my ID setting to a
setting other than “Off” (page 26).
R The key lock is on. Unlock it (page 14).
R Fixed dialling feature is enabled (page 23). Disable it.
I cannot receive a call. R The phone is not in a GSM network service coverage
area. Check the current status and move to a new
location until more bars are visible (page 12).
R Incoming calls are barred. Deactivate the incoming call
bar settings (page 28).
R A call matching the criteria for incoming restriction is
being received (page 26). Turn the incoming restriction
feature off.
