Buiten het effectieve bereik van automatische
witbalansregeling, zal de afbeelding rood-
of blauwachtig worden. En zelfs binnen het
effectieve bereik van witbalansregeling, kan
de automatische witbalansregeling niet
functioneren als er meer dan één lichtbron is.
Voor andere belichting dan de beschikbare
automatische witbalansregeling kunt u de
witbalans handmatig instellen.
Witbalans
Door bepaalde lichtbronnen kunnen de beelden
die door de unit zijn opgenomen blauw- of
roodachtig zijn. Stel de witbalans af om
dergelijke fenomenen te voorkomen.
Witbalansregeling bepaalt de kleur wit onder
verschillende lichtbronnen. Door te herkennen
wat wit is onder zonlicht en wat wit is onder een
fluorescerende lamp, kan de unit de balans
tussen de andere kleuren regelen.
Omdat de kleur wit de referentie is voor alle
kleuren (waaruit licht bestaat), kan de unit
beelden in een natuurlijke kleurschakering
opnemen als het de referentiekleur wit herkent.
Autofocus
De lens wordt naar voren of naar achteren
bewogen om het beeld scherp te stellen.
Autofocus bezit de volgende kenmerken.
•
Stelt zodanig af, dat de verticale lijnen van
een beeld duidelijker zicht zijn.
•
Probeert scherp te stellen op een object met
hoger contrast.
•
Stelt scherp op alleen het midden van het
beeldscherm.
Vanwege deze kenmerken, kan autofocus in de
volgende gevallen niet correct werken. Stel in
dat geval handmatig scherp.
Als er objecten zowel veraf als dichtbij
(close-up) in beeld zijn.
Omdat de unit scherpstelt op alles wat zich
in het midden van het beeld bevindt, is het
moeilijk om de achtergrond scherp te stellen
als close-up objecten in het centrum staan.
U kunt dus niet scherpstellen op beide.
Opnemen achter een vuil of stoffig raam
Scherpstellen op de beelden achter het raam is
niet mogelijk omdat het raam zich nu eenmaal
het meest dichtbij bevindt en vuil is.
Om diezelfde reden kan bijv. opeens worden
scherpgesteld op een plotseling voorbijkomend
object (bijv. een auto).
Als het object wordt omgeven door
objecten met glanzende oppervlakken of
sterk reflecterende objecten
Omdat op alles wat glanst of glinstert wordt
scherpgesteld, is scherpstellen op het onder-
werp bijna onmogelijk. Het scherp te stellen
beeld wordt onduidelijk als de objecten voor
de kustlijn staan, in nachtlicht of scènes met
vuurwerk of speciale lichten.
Als de omgeving donker is
De unit kan niet goed scherpstellen omdat de
lichtinformatie via de lens aanzienlijk afneemt.
Als een object zich snel beweegt
Daar de focuslens mechanisch beweegt, kan
het niet instellen op snel bewegende objecten.
Bijvoorbeeld: sportevenementen.
Als een object weinig contrast heeft
Het is eenvoudiger om scherp te stellen op
objecten met een scherp contrast of verticale
lijnen of strepen. Dit betekent dat een object
met een laag contrast, zoals een witte muur,
onscherp wordt omdat de unit scherpstelt op
basis van de verticale lijnen van een beeld.
