VIERA CAST does not operate or connect.
¾ Is the network connection correct? (> 31)
¾ Image of the video contents may be incomplete or may not
display depending on how busy the environment or the
connected line is.
When using Wireless LAN connection, video from
the DLNA Certified media server is not played back
or video frames are dropped during playback.
¾ Higher transfer rate router such as 802.11n (2.4 GHz or
5 GHz) Wireless router (Access Point) may solve the
problem. If you use 802.11n (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) Wireless
router (Access Point), it is necessary to set the encryption
type to “AES”.
Simultaneous use with a microwave, cordless telephone etc.
at 2.4 GHz may result in connection interruptions or other
problems.
¾ On the “Access Point Connection Setting” screen (> 42), the
continuous lighting of at least 4 “Reception” indicators is the
target for a stable connection. If 3 or fewer indicators are lit or
the connection is being interrupted, change the position or
angle of your Wireless router (Access point) and see if the
connection state improves. If there is no improvement,
connect to a wired network and perform the “Network Easy

automatically switches between layers and plays the title in
the same way as a normal programme. However, video and

¾ Sub contents copied to an SD card are provided by the disc
producer as a part of the BD-Video content. Even if you
record images and audio onto an SD card, it cannot be
played as a BD-Live. (> 18)
Alternative soundtrack and subtitles cannot be
selected.
¾ The languages are not recorded on the media.
¾ You may not be able to use the on-screen menu to change
the soundtrack and subtitles on some discs. Use the disc’s

[OPTION] on the unit at the same time for more than 5
seconds. “DVD-Video Ratings”, “BD-Video Ratings” and
“Lock” will return to the default settings.
The VIERA Link does not work.
¾ When using the unit with only the battery pack, operate after
turning the unit on. (> 11)
When a recorder or player etc. is operated with a
remote control, the unit is also simultaneously
operated.
When the unit’s remote control is operated, other
Panasonic recorders or players etc. are also
simultaneously operated.
¾ Change the remote control codes on the Panasonic
recorders or players.
