Inserting/Removing the Batteries/Card
(Optional)
Check that the camera is turned off.
Use alkaline batteries (supplied) or Ni-MH batteries (optional).
We recommend using a Panasonic card.

Slide the battery door

to open it.

Press and keep the lever down and slide the door.

Batteries:
Insert the batteries with the

poles aligned correctly.
Card:
Insert the card with the label side facing
the back of the camera until it clicks and
locks.
To remove the card, push the card until
it clicks, then pull the card out upright.
Do not touch the connection terminals on the back side of the card.
The card may be damaged if it is not fully inserted.

: Close the battery door or the card
door.

: Slide the battery door or the card
door to the end and then close it
rmly.
If the card door cannot be completely closed,
remove the card, check its direction and
insert it again.
Note
Before removing the card or batteries, turn the camera off, and wait until the status
indicator has gone off completely. (Otherwise, this unit may no longer operate normally
and the card itself may be damaged or the recorded pictures may be lost.)
Remove the batteries after use. Batteries may heat up soon after you start using the unit.
Turn the camera off and wait until the battery temperature decreases before removing
them.
Always use 2 new batteries of the same type when replacing batteries.
