2.2 Het verzorgen van de Ozobot EVO:

Het is belangrijk dat je je Ozobot EVO goed verzorgd. Het kan namelijk zomaar voorkomen

dat de Ozobot EVO zich vreemd begint te gedragen. Zo kan het bijvoorbeeld zijn dat hij

stopt met lijnen volgen. Om dit te voorkomen, moet je elke keer dat je met de Ozobot EVO

begint te spelen (of wanneer je de locatie of type papier wijzigt) je Ozobot EVO

onderhouden. Dit doe je door je Ozobot EVO te kalibreren.

Wat betekent dit? Ozobot EVOs "ogen" (oftewel sensoren) zijn zeer gevoelig voor licht. Zo

erg zelfs, dat als het papier verandert of als je dichter bij het raam gaat spelen, dit van

invloed is op hoe de Ozobot EVO ziet wat er onder hem is. Om Ozobot EVO te laten wennen

aan de nieuwe omgeving zul je hem moeten kalibreren.

2.2.1 Kalibreren op papier

1. Druk de aan/uit knop (aan de zijkant) 2

seconden in totdat de LED lichtjes wit

knipperen.

2. Zet de Ozobot EVO vervolgens precies op

de zwarte kalibratie stip.

3. De Ozobot EVO rijdt iets naar voren en

knippert groen. Dit betekent dat hij succesvol

gekalibreerd is. Als hij rood knippert, begin

dan opnieuw.

Tip: Je Ozobot EVO kalibreert op een zwarte

stip zo groot als de onderkant van de Ozobot

EVO. Je kunt hiervoor de meegeleverde

kalibratie zone gebruiken, maar ook zelf een

stip tekenen.
