2 Aan de slag – de basis
2.1 Wat is een Ozobot EVO?
Ozobot EVO is de geüpgradede versie van Ozobot EVO Bit en wordt gebruikt in de lessen
voor de bovenbouw. Ozobot EVO is laagdrempelig en toegankelijk voor klassikaal gebruik.
Ozobot EVO heeft dezelfde functies als Ozobot EVO Bit plus nog vele extra’s zoals:
infrarood sensor
- op afstand bestuurbaar via smartphone
- geluidsuitdrukkingen
- app integratie
- bluetooth verbinding
- Ozochat en Ozojis versturen
- action skin integratie
Deze extra functies zorgen voor veel uitdaging, zo kan Ozobot EVO worden
geprogrammeerd zodat hij bijvoorbeeld obstakels kan ontwijken of geluiden kan maken. Zo
komt hij nog meer tot leven!
Ozobot EVO kan op verschillende manieren bestuurd worden:
- Laat Ozobot EVO autonoom zijn wereld verkennen
- Bestuur Ozobot EVO via een smartphone of tablet
- Programmeer Ozobot EVO zelf! Dit kan via lijnen en kleurcodes op papier en via de online
omgeving van www.ozoblockly.com.
2.1.1 Het volgen van lijnen
Teken een zwarte lijn (ongeveer een halve
centimeter in breedte) op een wit stuk papier.
Zet je Ozobot EVO aan door op de knop aan
de zijkant te drukken. Plaats je Ozobot EVO op
de lijn en de bot zal de lijn volgen.
Hoe kan de Ozobot EVO lijnen volgen?
Draai je Ozobot EVO om en kijk naar de
onderkant: je ziet nu 5 openingen waar licht uit
schijnt. In elk van deze openingen is een optische sensor verwerkt. Deze sensoren zijn de ogen
van je Ozobot EVO. Elk van de sensoren ziet hoe licht het papier onder de sensor is. Op ziet
de Ozobot EVO waar het wit is en waar de zwarte lijnen zijn. Zo weet hij dus welke kant hij
op moet om de lijn te volgen.
